Hiking the Musical Bumps

Whistler's Musical Bumps is one of my favourite local hikes. Accessible by gondola, you get to skip the uphill slog and set straight to chugging along the high alpine plateau, with expansive glacier-laden mountain views in almost every direction. It's a beauty. You can do it as a day hike, looping up through High Note and the Musical Bumps then down through Singing Pass, or camp overnight in the shadow of the Fissile and the Overlord Massif at Russet Lake and the Himmelsbach Hut and even (shh! don't tell!) take the gondola both ways.
