Airbnb Experiences
San Francisco in the Fall
One late November Airbnb invited us to San Francisco to try out their new Airbnb Experiences platform. The idea is similar to their approach to accommodations — customers have a little mini marketplace of activities to choose from, each curated by a local host. Travellers gain a more nuanced and intimate view of the city by staying in local neighbourhoods and participating in hosted activities that provide a local's insight on the city. Each day was filled with a selection of experiences — including hiking Muir Woods, sailing around the Bay, and going on a burrito bicycle tour of the Mission. Lots of fun.
